Discover Westworld Brings Virtual Reality Tour To New York Comic Con.
The New York Comic Con begins today and runs through Sunday, October 9th at the Javitz Convention Center in New York city. The HBO marketing arm lassoed the hosts from Discover Westworld and dropped them squarely into the Javitz center. Guests who attend the Comic Con may sign up for Discover Westworld’s virtual reality experience where you can play nice or wipe out the entire town.
Look for the hosts in their customary white suits on the 1st floor, section E to book your trip. Then head over to 523 W. 37th Street for their Virtual Reality experience. Previously, I posted a fine article about the Discover Westworld tour when it sponsored TechCrunch Disrupt in San Francisco last month.
On Sunday, October 9, HBO will screen the second episode of Westworld entitled “Chestnut”, followed by a panel discussion with showrunners Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy, along with cast members Thandie Newton, Jeffrey Wright, Ben Barnes and Jimmi Simpson. The panel discussion will be moderated by IGN’s Eric Goldman.
Reportedly, the New York Comic Con is the East Coast’s biggest and most exciting pop culture convention. The Show Floor plays host to the latest and greatest in comics, graphic novels, anime, manga, video games, toys, movies and television. The Panels and Autograph Sessions give fans a chance to interact with their favorite creators. The screening rooms feature sneak peeks at films and television shows months before they hit big and small screens.

The New York Comic Con takes place in the comic book, publishing, media and licensing capital of the world — Gotham City. The Hammerstein Ballroom, where Discover Westworld is touring, is a two-tiered, 12,000-square-foot ballroom located within the Manhattan Center Studios at 311 West 34th Street in Manhattan in New York City. I’ve added a number of photos from the event, which appear in our gallery. If you would like to contribute any photos from the event, please contact Inside Westworld or simply add them to a post in the forum. I’m sure all the Westworld fans would appreciate it very much.
